• Hamas Announces Hostage Release: Hamas has declared plans to release six Israeli hostages on Saturday in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. The hostages to be released include Eliya Cohen, Tal Shoham, Omer Shem Tov, Omer Wenkert, Hisham Al-Sayed, and Avera Mengistu. Additionally, Hamas will return the bodies of four Israeli hostages, including the Bibas family, on Thursday. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar confirmed that negotiations for the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal will commence this week.

• Israeli Military Movements in Lebanon: The Israeli Defense Forces have withdrawn from most border villages in southern Lebanon but maintain positions in five strategic areas. The Lebanese government asserts that any remaining Israeli presence constitutes occupation.
